As a youth, Michael Parker faced many challenges and obstacles growing up in the inner city. His experiences as a youth was the catalyst for him starting lifeskills 411™.  From 1999 through 2005 Michael Parker and other concerned adults conducted a series of pilot programs throughout the Bay Area that touched the lives of over 200 youth in High School and College.  Since then, the lifeskills 411™ Academy was opened to the public in 2006/2007 where over 60 youth in Grades 6 through College benefited from this program.  Michael Parker’s humble beginnings never allowed him to forget about the human potential that lies within all youth, and his affinity to an underserved generation has been evident through the lifeskills 411™ organization.
